Cold Plunge & Ice Bath Water Care Guide
Cold plunge water may look simple, but every use introduces sweat, body oils, skin products and debris. Keeping that water clean depends on a system: filtration, surface cleaning, pre-use hygiene and timely water changes.

Control what enters the water
One of the simplest ways to reduce maintenance is to reduce contaminants before they enter. Rinsing before use, keeping footwear and debris away from the plunge and maintaining the filter can materially change how quickly the water degrades.
Do not rely on appearance alone
Clear-looking water can still be due for maintenance, while slightly cloudy water can have several causes. Follow the plunge manufacturer's treatment and sanitation guidance, watch filter condition and use smell, clarity, surface buildup and operating history together when deciding whether maintenance or a full water change is needed.
