How Often Should You Change Cold Plunge Water?
There is no universal water-change interval that fits every cold plunge. Water volume, filtration, treatment method, bather load and how clean users are before entering all affect how long the water remains manageable.
Follow the plunge manufacturer's guidance first. Between scheduled changes, watch for persistent cloudiness, odor, residue, filter problems or water that no longer responds normally to the approved maintenance routine.
Good pre-use hygiene, filtration and routine surface cleaning can extend the useful life of the water, but they do not eliminate the need for periodic draining and cleaning.
